Doxanos... Well, it's an odd one, that's for sure. Too far away to be convenient to invade, too close to water to ignore completely, too volatile to trade much with, and too dangerous to oppress. Very few who are born in Doxanos ever leave, though they are certainly distinctive when seen; jet black hair and red eyes characterize most Doxkyrie.

The most recognizable habit of the Doxkyrie are the Skyfire Knights, the only people ever able to tame and train meteor dragons for work and battle. Thanks to their vicious fighting style and aerial superiority, Doxanos needs no standing army. On the rare occasion a stronghold comes under attack, signal flares are fired into the sky to call in the flying calvary. After the attackers are taken care of, the knights bring proof of their kills to the town's magistrate to be rewarded for their service. Such a system keeps the knights interested in coming to the city's aid, outside of the inherent reward of glory in battle. It's hard to say whether the physical reward is entirely necessary.
