Personality
Matilda tends to be introverted and quiet, but don't let that make you think she'll simply ignore you until you go away or shy away from confrontation. She wants her peace and she wants it now! She tends to hurry people along through the fitting process in order to maximize her alone time for reading, crosswords, and number puzzles. Matilda is quite smart, but her callous nature gets in the way of making any great strides with the research teams. Best to keep her in a cupboard.

History
Growing up in Stormwind was too noisy and hectic for Matilda. As soon as she came of age, she quickly married off to a farm boy she had met at the market. However, the friendly, homely nature of the farming community in Westfall didn't suit her, either. Everyone was just too nosy and interested in each other.
Enough was enough! Matilda left for Dalaran, seeking to bury herself in a library, but after growing frustrated with the elderly magi and young students of the city, she finally made the move to Menethil Isle, a place no one had heard of and which indeed had a small population. Upon reaching the isle, she found the urban and rural careers to be more of the same she had tried to escape, but after asking around, she found her way to Duskwatch Keep and the Cult of Midnight. Happily placed in the perfect workspace with a nice, quiet country home, Matilda has finally found her place in the world.
